She was raised in New Delhi and had her early education at one of the most prestigious public school – Oak Grove (run by the British at that time) in Missouri. She completed her college education at Jesus and Mary College, affiliated to the Delhi University where she Successfully completed a degree (B.A-hons.) in Economics.She then followed a course in Beauty Culture and Cosmetology for 2 years at the defense colony in Delhi under Mrs. Sneha Chatterji (wife of Air Marshall Chatterji) and successfully completed the course.
